Our herd consist of indigenous cows, mixed breed cows and buffaloes offering you different nutrients available in the different types of milk.
Gir Cow
The Gir breed was originally from the state of Gujarat and spread through Kishangarh (Ajmer) in Rajasthan. They have high capacity to produce milk with average yield being 1590 kg per lactation. Since it belongs to Bos indicus breed, it has high resistance to tropical diseases and hot temperatures.
Sahiwal Cow
Sahiwal breed is originally from Sahiwal district of Punjab province in Pakistan. Among all the zebu breeds, they have the highest production of milk with lactation milk production of 2270 kg.
Ongole Cow
Ongole cows are tough, grows rapidly and are naturally tolerant to heat and diseases of the Tropics. They originated from Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. They were the first Indian breed to find global recognition.
Kankrej Cow
This breed of the Zebu cattle which came from Banaskantha district of Gujarat and Northern Mumbai show tolerance to heat and pest. With a yield of 8-10 litres of milk a day, Kankrej cows are considered to be good yielders of milk.
Murrah Buffalo
This is a breed of Water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) originated from the states of Punjab and Haryana. Italy, Bulgaria and Egypt have also used this breed to improve dairy buffalo’s milk production. They give 2200 litres of milk on an average in a 310 days of lactation period.
Jersey Cow
One of the most famous breeds is the Jersey breed which came from the small British Island of Jersey in the English Channel. It has reported by authorities that this breed has been purebred for nearly six centuries. Jersey cow milk has comparatively lower saturated fats and 20% higher calcium and proteins.
